Responsibilities:
The Electronics Technician Maintenance II (Avionics Technician) applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. This technician works under immediate supervisionand achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician. A & P Desired FCC a requirement.

Qualifications:
Must have Three (3) years recent experience working full time as an aircraft avionics technician or (5) years of On Job Training.
Must have an FCC license.
Must be able to obtain a passport, visa and pass an extensive government back ground investigation, to support operations in foreign countries and deployments.
Must be able to work well with others or independently, predicated on the scope and depth of operations at specified sites.
Ability to physically perform climbing, stooping, stretching, etc. operations related to the job and lift up to 50 pounds.
Analytical abilities sufficient to handle complex technical and administrative details.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively and deal courteously and professionally with the customer.
Perform off station maintenance when required.
May be required to exercise independent judgment and travel or relocate to other geographical locations including foreign countries.
