Performs routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests on all types of blood and body fluid specimens under minimal supervision. Insures accurate and reliable test results by adhering to a strict quality control program. Performs instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures according to department's policies and procedures. Maintains records and statistical data according to regulative requirements. Teaches new employees and students laboratory policies and procedures. Collects chain of custody urine drug screens as required. Performs legal alcohol blood collections. Assists as needed in all laboratory areas as required to maintain appropriate patient care.
Qualifications:
Education:
MT-BS degree from an accredited college or university required in Medical Technology. Degree must be in Medical Technology or one of the biological or chemical sciences. Laboratoary training through an accredited laboratory school preferred. MLT-Associated Degree from an accredited college or university in a Laboratory Field. Degree must be in a Medical Laboratory Sciences or one of the biological or chemical sciences. Laboratory training through an accredited laboratory school preferred.
Experience:
Two years experience as a MLT and/or MT.
Certification:
ASCP Certification or equivalent preferred.
Job: LaboratoryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
