Field Engineer

Assist with technical/electrical project specific support/information to project PM, supervision and crafts to insure construction work complies with all Project standards.
1.
Compile data and information from technical and accounting sources; calculations and summarizations of same as directed.
2.
Inventory, check, examine and measure materials.
3.
May assemble and bind reports, proposals, bids, estimates, schedules as needed.
4.
Research and recommend resolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors.
5.
Verify all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings, specifications.
6.
Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports, punch lists describing work items to be done, sketches of work already completed, material requirement calculations, etc.

7.
May provide technical support and direction of project material control functions including implementation and operation of maintenance program.
8.
Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work, change orders, estimates, etc.
9.
Coordinate and process general administrative work (time sheets, vacation requests, supply requisitions, etc.
) for supervisor's signature.
10.
Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, &
Experience:
Requirements include:
an engineering degree and or combinations of Industrial electrical technical training and related practical on the job experience.
Working knowledge of electrical construction equipment and techniques, drawings & specifications, electrical construction materials and required standards applicable to electrical discipline.
Ability to perform calculation either manually or with calculator.
Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others.
Additional Requirements include but may not be limited to:
Completion of a Pre-Employment Drug / Alcohol Screening.
Provide employer with a copy of your current valid Driver's License.
Must be able to pass required local, state or federal government security screening for access to client job sites (if required).
Other Training Requirements include but may not be limited to:
Project Admin Training - II OSHA 30 HR Training CPR and other First Aid Training New Hire Safety Orientation, SDS, LOTO and QMS may be required on or before the first day of employment.
Ongoing Safety Training as needed to meet business safety compliance needs as they may change from time-to-time.
Continued skills training (i.
e.
craft training / administrative training) required.
Work Environment:
Most work will likely be conducted in the field at various client / company job sites.
Some field operation positions may require periodic or extensive daily travel to job sites (local or remote), including prolonged overnight stays, to meet the needs of a project.
